Novel Studies/Tic Tac Toe grades 7and 9 are due May 24th (Tuesday)

Grade 7 you have a novel study due May 24th. All grade 7's should have a novel. Poetry portfolio should be complete to  the end of 5 forThursday. Includes simile booklet, concrete poem, rest of concrete poem booklet, simile poem (Black and White etc...) and questions pg. 57 in Homegrown. These must go in the brown folder I gave you.


Grade 9: Your Romeo and Juliet test will be long answer and after the break.Wed or Thurs of that week. Whenever we have a double period.

7-1 simile booklet, concrete poem and simile poem should all be done for Monday

7-1 and 7-2 Study review for French test on Tues April 19th. Brochures are due Wed for 7-2. 7-1 Will start theres on Monday in class.

French test for both class Tues April 19th. They received the review today. I will correct it on Friday.


English Grade 9. Quote multiple choice for Friday!

French 7: Test Reveiew going out tomorrow. Test next Tues unless there are too many conflicts.

English 7: Decriptive writing due Wed April 13th with 2 edit sheets (one you completed, one your group completed.)


French 7 Test soon probably next Tuesday (sorry I am tired too and need a break but I would like to get it done before Easter) I will give out 1/2 the review tomorrow and the rest on Wed.

7-2 English :Finish rough draft of descriptive writing (3 pararaphs) for Monday.

7-2 French: Write another 6 sentences on another place for Friday.

English 7: Finish 3 paragraph rough draft of descriptive piece, peer edit sheet and 7-2 2nd page of apostrophe sheet. (worksheet 1)

French 7-1: Study your sentences for oral presentation.

Grade 7 Eng;lish: Some students have not passed in their Underground to Canada Exercise due March 18th. Some have not passed in research papers or finished 2 assignments that I will correct that they completed when I was out (a treasure map and a journal entry pretending to be Amelia Earhart.) I need to have everything marked ASAP for report cards going out the 14th of April. Please check to see of you are one of these people. I spoke to all concerned today unless absent or late this morning! You will be kept after school tomorrow if you do not have it ready!

Grade 9 English: All class work should be passed in for marking. If it is not into me tomorrow you will also be in after school.

Grade 7 English: Your first draft of your descriptive piece should be finished for Thursday. (7-1- I will fill you in more tomorrow)
