Grade 9 Questions to the end of Chpt 19 (May 24) for Friday March 2. (Forbidden City)

Grade 7: I did not pass out french tests today. I did not have both classes so will wait until tomorrow.
In English, students are working through comprehension questions while I look over their lit circles. On Monday they need to have the lit circles completed and all questions done so they can start novel study project.

All grade 7's should have all their work done for lit circles and chapter questions for Monday March 5th!. We will be starting our novel project then.

grade 9's finish all questions to the end of  May 5th.

Students will get their French tests back tomorrow.

This is a test can students get this?

Grade 7: Expect a french quiz on your unit vocab this week: pizza words, recipe words, restaurant words.The quiz will most likely be Thurs or Fri with a test to follow Tues of next week (Feb 21)

Grade 7-2 Don't forget to organize to bring in the food for Friday!
Grade 9: Your 2 lit circles should be passed in for grading. I do not have them all, especially the one on the story "Once Upon a Time." Your "Gore" assignment will be due Wed morning (Feb 15) that should be plenty of time given the class time you have received.

Grade 7-1 Don't forget food for tomorrow!

Grade 7-1 your french restaurant food sharing is this Firday the 10th. 7-2 will go ahead next Friday, the 17th.

Grade 7-1 Finish your working group activity for Underground to Canada.


Grade 9-2. Your lit circle on "Once Upon a Time" is due Monday Feb 13th. 

Grade 7 Finish Lit circles on Harriet Tubman. French food presentations (bring in food) will be Friday Feb 17th for both groups. You should make sure you are able to read your part in French.


Grade 9: no homework

Grade 7: Study French oral questions for Monday. I quized 7-1 today and many of them need to practice. I had too many out in 7-2 this afternoon to do the same. Students will be tested (orally ) Monday.


Grade 7: English for Monday good copy of concrete poems and 2 center activites complete.


Grade 9: A few students have lit circles to finish. All students need to choose a courageous person they know to write about....someone they can connect to.

Grade 7: Study french questions and finish concrete poems for Monday feb 6th.

Grade 9: Start thinking about a courageous person you could write your thoughts and feelings about in a demand piece of writing next week. In class Lit circle should be finished in class tomorrow.
