Grade 7: In class french assignment on Monday April 30th. Study poetry terms

Grade 9: Theme essay is due on Friday. There will be no more class time as 3 full periods is plenty. Tomorrow we will review next set of terms for test next Tues.

Grade 7: Study terms for English and French notes for in class assignment. The french in class assignment is moved to next Monday April 30th. It is imperative that you study if you are going to be clear on what to do with your June exams.

Grade 9. Don't forget novel study Forbidden City due April 30th. I will hand back your independent novel study on WED. of this week. Also study terms for next week's term test (the next 3 pages to the term hypertext). When you are working on your Forbidden City project keep the rubric in mind!


Grade 7: Study your French notes for in class assignment this Friday. They are the notes with PARLE on top. You should also review the practice you completed in your exercise. For English I have all but 3 novel studies passed in! They will look great when we get them on display. Start studying your poetry terms which 7-2 got today. 7-1 you will get them tomorrow.

Grade 9: Don't forget vocab quiz on Monday April 22. Also your Forbidden City project is due April 30th. A project should be done overtime get started. Monday will be your 3rd and final class to work on your theme essay. It will be due Wednesday of next week.


Grade 7: We are done with our novel project. Make sure you have exercise books for English and French as well as texts for all classes in the future!

Grade 9 Quiz on first 3 pages of terms will be Monday APRIL 23. Rough draft of theme essay should be ready for Monday as well.

GRADE 7: TEMPLATES FINISHED BY THURSDAY. WE WILL BE PUTTING THE NOVEL STUDIES TOGETHER ON THAT DAY. I WILL BE STAYING WED AFTER SCHOOL IF ANYONE NEEDS TO STAY BEHIND. IF NOT TAKE IT HOME AND FINISH. IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON!!!!!!!

Grade 7: Get your assignments in ASAP. Character sketches, maps....some of you are very late with these. Also journal entry is due in good copy (blue/black ink with title page) April 5th. (thursday)

Grade 7-2 French. First 3 pages of today's booklet. puzzle, world map and first verb page.


Grade 9: Democracy posters due tomorrow. Book Reports Thursday or first day back after Easter and Forbidden City Assignment April 30. Comprehension test on Thursday on Forbidden City questions. I made up a separate test on the questions our class did. Make sure you can define simile, metaphor, symbol, personification and situational irony.
